is partnering with a global technology company that provides innovative solutions for the travel and hospitality industries worldwide.

We are seeking a

motivated and detail-oriented BI Developer

to support our client in strengthening their global Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities. In this role, you will apply modern BI methodologies and technologies to deliver accurate, insightful, and visually compelling reports and dashboards. You will work extensively with

Power BI

to design, model, and build business reports using data sourced from

Hive tables and various databases . Collaborating with BI Specialists, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders, you will translate business needs into reusable tabular data models and actionable insights that enable smarter, data-driven decision-making.

Main Responsibilities

Support the BI Team Lead in analytical projects to identify business opportunities and process improvements.

Work closely with business teams to understand reporting needs and ensure BI solutions align with client objectives.

Develop, maintain, and optimize

Power BI dashboards , ensuring flexibility, usability, and high performance.

Design and model datasets for flexibility, reusability, and scalability in shared Power BI environments.

Create and maintain SQL stored procedures, views, and ad-hoc reports, including direct queries via

Hive

and

Databricks notebooks .

Develop and maintain data integration processes, reporting frameworks, and documentation.

Ensure timely and accurate analysis of business performance while maintaining the integrity of all BI deliverables.

Document technical solutions, support knowledge sharing, and provide ongoing platform support.

Collaborate with IT, data, and operational teams to implement and maintain BI solutions.

Follow BI policies and procedures throughout the development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Minimum

5 years

of experience as a BI Analyst or BI Developer.

Advanced proficiency in

Power BI , including data modeling and dashboard creation.

Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.

Solid understanding of

data warehousing ,

database management systems , and

data lake/lakehouse architectures .

Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and reusable tabular models.

High attention to detail and accuracy when managing complex data.

Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Strong collaboration skills and experience in

Agile (Scrum)

environments.

Experience with

Databricks ,

Hive , and

Azure-based reporting platforms .

Familiarity with BI lifecycle documentation and version control practices.

Understanding of business operations in the travel or hospitality sectors is a plus.
