Role Purpose Ensure to build and maintain good relationship with direct and indirect suppliers with aim medium and long term stability of supply from supplier to Fonterra Brands Manufacturing Indonesia. Leading all negotiation and development contract with suppliers and support others function to make effective bidding process before procure goods and services. Ensure that all purchases of goods and services give the best value for the company. Implement supply strategies and negotiate prices, terms and discounts. Leverage volumes and industry knowledge to get best deals with suppliers. Leading and maintain implementation of Fonterra purchasing global policy and ensuring compliance for all purchasing aspect to global Fonterra purchasing policy.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning Support supply plan team to specifying the quantity and timing of arrivals of finished goods (FG source TPM/Import), raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM) based on IBP cycle plan. Develop and negotiate the right level Minimum order Quantity (MoQ) for direct material to be align with production plan. Defer or bring forward orders as needed

Procurement Leading bidding process for new suppliers and existing suppliers to ensure competitive price for Fonterra Brands Manufacturing Indonesia. Leading negotiation with suppliers and actively update market pricing for material and services. Active using procurements benchmarking tools to have good visibility for future pricing on raw and material price. Leading cost leadership project for FB Manufacturing Indonesia As Relationship manager for direct and indirect suppliers, leading communication with suppliers when there is dispute and problem occurred between FBMI with suppliers. Ensure adherence to the Approved Supplier Program of current and potential suppliers Sourcing of alternative suppliers and materials to reduce supply risks and improve costs Prepare and manage contracts with suppliers Regularly review and update implementation of Fonterra purchasing policy in FBMI.

Regional Reporting Measure and submit Purchasing Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) each month and identify areas for improvement Provide insights, data requirements and support to regionally-initiated projects related to procurement direct and indirect materials. Actively work with regional and global purchasing category manager to ensure competitive cost and services.

People Management and Development Supervise and engage staff to ensure valuable contribution of the function toward achievement of objectives Ensure alignment of staff objectives with department and company objectives Provide resources and coaching needed that will allow them to deliver their objectives Manage career of staff

Systems and Administrative Management Ensure adherence to Purchasing Policy Ensure integrity of JDE transactions related to Procure to Pay Manage processes related to importation to ensure efficient release of relevant FG, RM and PM from customs

FSQ, Health and Safety and Environment responsibility Ensuring compliance to food safety and quality prior to sourcing goods and services. Ensure compliance to company Health and Safety requirements prior to sourcing goods and services. Ensuring compliance to environments sustainability of emission, water, waste and social employment aspect. Ensuring aspect of FQS, H&S, Environment and Social with request support from others function prior to select suppliers for sourcing.

About You Engineering degree or any management degree Min 10 years’ experience as a Procurement Manager or Supply chain manager in the FMCG industry. Experience in leading negotiation, bidding process and category group material and services. Understanding and ability to lead project management concept will be preferable. Analytical, keen with details, possess good communication skills, and a good team player; Knowledgeable in MS Excel, Word and Power Point. Experience in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system i.e. SAP, JDE will be an added advantage.
