International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) Consultant

Job Purpose As a member of the ITTS team, you will assist in cross-border tax advisory projects involving local tax regulation and tax treaty analysis, group restructuring projects for merger and acquisition tax issues, and tax due diligence engagements in various industries. You will also assist in the delivery of tax compliance and tax litigation services in a timely manner. You will be expected to maintain a high quality of work, to contribute towards the team’s goals, and to provide exceptional services to our clients.

As such, you will attend ITTS training, which will keep you up to date with the latest international tax developments, changes in various jurisdictions as well as Base Erosion and Profit Shifting updates.

Client Responsibilities

Participate in ITTS engagements

Analyze information and apply local regulation or tax treaty provisions to client situations

Analyze the tax implications of a proposed structure or transactions

Prepare tax memorandum and/or advice that will be delivered to clients

Contribute as a team member for structuring and tax due diligence projects

Gain strong background in Indonesian tax fundamentals

Support other tax service lines where required

Liaise with clients, other EY offices around the globe and tax offices

Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on work progress

Participate and assist in preparing for client meetings

Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client’s personnel

People Responsibilities

Build strong internal relationships within the ITTS team and across EY

Maintain an educational program to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis

Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

Technical Skills Requirement

Fresh Graduate (Bachelor or Master degree) with limited working experience preferably majoring in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or Law from a reputable university (candidates with other majors can also be considered)

Minimum GPA 3.20 out of 4.00

Excellent in written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa

Solid research and analytical skills

Work well in team environment and/or independently

Highly motivated and strong eagerness to learn
