Job Summary The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery and processes to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing of high-quality products, adhering to established procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor various production equipment and machinery, including but not limited to mixers, extruders, and packaging lines, according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Perform routine checks and adjustments to equipment to maintain optimal performance and product quality.

Monitor production processes, identify deviations, and take corrective actions as required.

Load raw materials and unload finished products, ensuring proper handling and storage.

Conduct quality control checks on products throughout the production cycle and report any defects or inconsistencies.

Maintain accurate production records, including downtime, output, and material usage.

Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).

Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery and work areas.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status, issues, and improvements.

Assist in troubleshooting minor equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; a vocational degree or certification in a related field is a plus.

Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions and production schedules.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.

Good basic math skills for calculations related to production.

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and as part of a team.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg), and perform repetitive tasks.

Willingness to work in shifts (day, night, weekends) as required by production demands.

Commitment to safety and quality standards.
