Shoe Constructor

who’s passionate about the shoe‑making process and pattern development.

Job Summary

Assist the Chief Constructor in developing patterns according to the Design Master Shoe (DMS) and the established standards for each article. The incumbent also monitors the production process to ensure the developed pattern is applied correctly and any adjustments are made promptly.

Duties and Responsibilities

Check incoming DMS to ensure each article has been developed per standard.

Verify the pattern and apply grading according to the standard.

Coordinate with the BOM administrator, Technofile & Production preparation and provide support throughout the development process.

Prepare DMS – Hand Over Cost (HOC) reports for all new articles and ensure they contain appropriate comments.

Monitor the development process in the development and production teams to follow up on problems, identify solutions, and implement improvements.

Create improvements to shoe patterns based on production issues.

Provide regular reports and updates to the Chief Constructor regarding the pattern development process.

Experiences & Requirements

Bachelor’s or Diploma in footwear technology.

3+ years of experience in Shoe Development / Construction.

In‑depth knowledge of the shoemaking process and pattern making.

Ability to review shoe patterns, spec sheets, BOMs, etc.

Experience with CAD construction.

Willingness to work in Sidoarjo, East Java.
