Finance Manager (Mandarin Speaking)

About the role Reporting into the Finance Manager, an exciting opportunity is available for an Accounting Supervisor (Mandarin Speaking) to join the fast‑paced team at PT Tiens Indonesia Logistics Trading' in Jakarta. In this full‑time role, you will play a crucial part in managing the company's financial reporting and accounting processes, while leveraging your fluency in Mandarin to support the business's operations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily accounting activities, including AP, AR, and General Ledger.

Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with applicable accounting standards (PSAK/IFRS).

Able to use Finance Software such as MAS.

Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes in a timely manner.

Monitor and ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.

Communicate and report financial information to Mandarin‑speaking management, head office, or business partners.

Translate and explain financial reports and accounting documents into Mandarin when required.

Develop, implement, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Train, guide, and evaluate accounting staff performance.

Support management with financial analysis and decision‑making.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written); ability to communicate professionally in English.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience working with multinational or Chinese‑owned companies is a strong advantage.
