Surveillance Engineer
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication/Network), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Willing to be placed in offshore and remote area.
Have a healthy body and healthy eyes.
Willing to work in elevation area.
Able to work individually or in a team and under pressure.
Ability to analyze technical problems, draw conclusions and provide recommendations / propose solutions.
Knowledge about HSE.
Physically healthy.
Honest, detail-oriented, and able to work independently without external influence.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Careful and accurate in managing data.
Certifications in Surveillance, CCTV, and Radio Link are preferred.
Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain services, devices, support, interconnection with third parties and performance services in the work area to keep it functioning properly.
Monitor and compare data between VDR and VTS/FMS.
Prepare reports on the results of VDR and VTS comparisons.
Submit VDR & VTS comparison reports to PHE Marine.
Perform maintenance on Surveillance and Radio Link networks, CCTV computers including switches, fiber optic cables, and server devices.
Conduct troubleshooting and repairs in the event of Surveillance and Radio Link failures on-site.
Prepare monthly reports on the performance of the Surveillance and Radio Link systems.
