Position International Medical Coordinator

Duties As an International Medical Coordinator, you are responsible to provide service and take immediate action on any request for emergency medical assistance received from worldwide customers.

All communication is in English.

Answer medical inquiries in English via e‑mail and phone promptly and in a professional manner

Liaise with worldwide customers and service providers and ensure the service meets the standard guidelines and protocols set forth by the company

Obtain, maintain & update medical information & files in database

Daily medical Case Management with continuous monitoring and reporting

Consult in‑house doctors’ team for medical guidance on the management of complex medical files which includes coordination and transporting of patients domestically & internationally

Coordinate referrals of patients and arrange medical transport of patients by air, sea and ground under supervision of qualified medical team

Utilisation management. Audit & screen medical invoices

Assist our Intl. Travel & Service team by reviewing medical information and provide relevant medical opinion and suggestion to the medical files

Assist with Medical Training & guidance to our Intl. Travel & Service team

Participate on relevant work project when required by the supervisor

Qualifications

Excellent English communication skills is a must

Proficiency in use of computer program for Microsoft office suite (word, outlook, excel)

Doctor of medicine degree (MD)/ BS Nursing degree; Registered Nurse / physician in related field

Preferably with 3-5 years of clinical experience in the field of Emergency Department, Inpatient ward, Intensive Care Unit and or Medical Transport team.

Flexible, team player, “get‑it‑done” personality.

Ability to organize, plan and work independently & under stress.

Ability to multi‑task and context‑switch effectively between different activities and teams.

Able to work in shifts, weekends, public holidays
