IT Project Manager Banking

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage technology projects within the banking environment. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with banking regulations and internal standards. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, monitor, and close IT projects in accordance with project management best practices.

Manage project scope, timeline, budget, risks, and resources effectively.

Coordinate with business users, IT teams, vendors, and external partners.

Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and internal policies.

Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.

Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.

Support system implementation, enhancement, and integration projects within the banking environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in the Banking or Financial Services industry.

Strong understanding of IT systems, SDLC, and project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid).

Experience managing cross‑functional teams and multiple stakeholders.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

Familiarity with banking systems, regulatory requirements, and information security standards is a strong advantage.
