Postdoctoral Position Open The BRIN Photonic Research Center is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in the field of Photofunctional Materials for Renewable Energy and Environmental Remediation

Research Focus: • Solar-driven energy conversion (e.g., H₂O₂ production, water splitting, CO₂ reduction) • Photocatalytic environmental remediation • Low-dimensional (0D/1D/2D) semiconductor materials & heterostructures • In-situ and operando optical characterization for real-time analysis of light-driven processes

We are looking for candidates with: • Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related fields • Strong background in photocatalysis and semiconductor materials • Solid publication record in international journals • Experience in nanomaterial synthesis and advanced characterization This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to frontier research at the intersection of light–matter interaction, catalysis, and advanced spectroscopy.
