Yayasan Hutan Tropis was legally established in Indonesia in 2005 as a national non-profit organization (Yayasan). We are affiliated with the Earthworm Foundation as the implementing partner for activities in Indonesia. Our offices are based in Semarang and Jakarta, with a total of 81 staff. Our operational areas include Aceh, North Sumatra, Riau, and East Kalimantan.
Your Role
As the
Finance Officer,
you will be primarily responsible for:
Attach and organize supporting receipts for PJUM (Expense/Reimbursement) submitted by staff.
Conduct initial verification of PJUM submissions to ensure completeness and accuracy of documents.
Input expense transactions into the HQ reporting template accurately and in a timely manner.
Export financial data from the Yokoy expense management system.
Import Yokoy files into the HQ reporting template and ensure data consistency.
File and archive PJUM documents that have been successfully recorded in the HQ template.
Follow up with staff/vendors to collect and ensure submission of original invoices and supporting documents.
Your Profile
You have understanding of accounting principles and expense management processes in the non-profit sector is required and will make an asset to the team. You have strong attention to the detail and accuracy in handling financial data, good organizational and filing skills. You are able to communicate with colleagues from various departments is essential to complete task and solving problems. You are proactive and persistant, especially for follow-ups with internal stakeholders.
You are proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, basic formulas, data reconciliation), familiar with expense management system is an advantage. You have ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Most importantly, you should align with Earthworm Foundation’s values and bring a positive, problem-solving mindset to the team.

Full‑time position
Fixed‑term, 6‑month contract
