Supervisor Quality Assurance (QA)

About the role As the Supervisor of Quality Assurance (QA) at PT Furukawa Indomobil Battery Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the production of high-quality automotive batteries that meet the stringent standards of the industry. In this full-time position based in Purwakarta, West Java, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and procedures across the manufacturing plant.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to maintain and improve product quality

Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to identify and address quality issues

Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related problems

Analyse quality data and generate reports to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement

Train and mentor quality assurance team members to enhance their skills and ensure consistent quality standards

Ensure compliance with all relevant quality, environmental, and safety regulations and standards

Participate in the implementation of new quality management systems and procedures

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the manufacturing or automotive industry

Strong technical knowledge of quality control principles, tools, and techniques

Proficient in data analysis and the use of quality management software

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English

Familiarity with quality management standards such as ISO 9001 or IATF 16949
