This role oversees all aspects of the property and other general services, including managing operations, building maintenance, facilities management, ensuring compliance with legal and safety requirements and tenant relations to maximize asset value and client satisfaction.
The primary objective of the system is to improve the efficiency, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction of services. Evaluates the best method of work and exercises appropriate judgment in establishing priorities and resolving general services matters.
Responsibilities
Client and tenant relations: Act as the main point of contact for clients and tenants, managing their needs, requests, and overall satisfaction.
Budget and financial management: Develop and manage the annual budget, including forecasting expenses, tracking costs, and ensuring operations are cost-effective.
Operations and maintenance: Coordinate all aspects of property operations, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections, to ensure high standards are met costโeffectively.
Leasing and marketing: Support the leasing team by marketing the property and ensuring occupancy goals are met.
Risk and compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements for the properties.
Vendor/contractor management: Negotiate and manage contracts with external service providers such as cleaning, security, landscaping, and maintenance.
Health and safety: Ensure the building and its operations comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, conduct regular inspections and audits, and address potential hazards.
Project coordination: Plan and coordinate renovations, installations, space management and new construction projects from minor updates to major refurbishments, and manage the layout of facilities.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelorโs Degree, Masterโs Degree / Post Graduate Degree, any field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in commercial property management or facilities management.
Additional knowledge:
Collaborate with teams, tenants, and vendors; adaptable to changing priorities in a fastโpaced environment.
Excellent communication, organizational skills to handle multiple projects and tasks efficiently; leadership skills.
Familiarity with building systems, lease administration, and negotiations.
Proficiency in property management software and accounting/financial reporting.
Strong understanding of property trends and property management regulations.
