Job Description

Job Summary The Tax Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily tax operations, ensuring timely and accurate calculation, reconciliation, and reporting of all tax obligations in compliance with applicable regulations. This role provides oversight in preparing and filing tax returns, managing payroll taxes, and supporting corporate tax compliance to minimize risks and maintain the companyโ€™s financial integrity. The position contributes to organizational goals by safeguarding compliance, reducing exposure to penalties or disputes, and strengthening the reliability of financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Tax planning and optimisation:

calculate and review deferred taxes & monthly corporate income tax, validate transaction data and documentation, and record on a timely basis every monthly financial close.

Tax compliance:

support compliance with local, regional, and national tax laws, monitor applicable regulations, interpret changes to assess business impact, maintain updated tax compliance policies and procedures, conduct regulatory updates and training, and develop relevant materials.

Validate and calculate tax liabilities:

collect transaction data, identify nonโ€‘deductible or exempt items, reconcile net tax payable or refundable, and ensure completeness and accuracy of monthly tax payments.

Tax payment and reporting:

prepare and file tax returns, submit required forms to the tax department, generate tax payment codes via tax portals, manage and process payroll taxes (e.g., independent contractors, 23/26, 4 ayat 2 & VAT), produce contractor tax statements, file regulatory payroll tax forms, provide clarifications on irregular transactions, back up digital tax records, reconcile and review taxes, prepare and submit VAT, PPh 21, 23/26, 4 ayat 2, VAT, and annual corporate tax returns, coordinate with external auditors for statutory filings, and respond to SP2DK as required.

Audit and tax disputes:

support tax audits by preparing required documents and explanation letters, and support tax dispute processes by preparing necessary documentation for tax objection and appeal.

Process improvement and automation:

support FAT process improvements by gathering inputs, identifying opportunities, and assisting in system or workflow enhancements, monitor implemented improvements, track performance goals, collect feedback, and maintain optimized workflow documentation.

Requirements

Minimum Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, Fiscal Administration, or related fields.

2โ€“4 years of experience in Tax, including corporate tax reporting, VAT and income tax compliance, tax audits, and transfer pricing.

Brevet A&B Certification in Taxation is preferred.

Achievementโ€‘oriented, able to work in a team, initiative, high attention to detail, adaptable, and communicative.

Skilled in Technical Tax Management & Reporting, Technical Accounting & Financial Report, ERP & Tax Automation Systems, and Tax Audit & Dispute Handling.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (PPh, PPN, etc.).

Proficient in Indonesian and English.
