IT Business Analyst Life Asia 400 for Life Insurance About the role

As an IT Business Analyst at PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKNOLOGI (SIGMATECH), you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and optimisation of the Life Asia 400 Life Insurance platform. Based in our dynamic Jakarta office, this full‑time position will see you collaborating closely with our technical and business teams to analyse requirements, design solutions, and ensure the seamless integration of the system within our client's operations.

What you'll be doing

Bridge between business users and application developers/infrastructure teams.

Work with users to improve and finalize business requirements and create functional specification documents for core applications, including new product development and new customer services.

Analyse the risks of system enhancements to existing processes in applications.

Execute and evaluate SIT results, and support UAT.

Understand business change needs, assess business impact, capture, analyse, deliver, document requirements, and support communication of these requirements with relevant stakeholders.

Perform end‑to‑end IT work of gathering, reviewing, analysing, and implementing business needs at the system technology layer until deployment to production.

What we’re looking for

Minimum Bachelor degree in IT/engineering/science related study.

3 – 5 years of IT experience.

Business Analyst certification is an advantage.

Understanding of Basic Life Insurance business rules and processes.

Strong analytical skills.

Good knowledge of SDLC and experience with full software development cycle.

Experience handling applications (frontend, integration, or core) related to insurance processes.

Experience with Life400 or GroupAsia insurance systems is a plus.

Experience in requirement gathering and creation of Business Requirement/Functional Spec documents.

Analytical mind and problem‑solving aptitude.

Proficient in SQL (DML commands).

Process‑ and result‑oriented.

Team player who works well with others.

Communicative, well‑organized, and business‑like presentation.

Independent and collaborative work style.

Sense of ownership and quality minded.
