Job Description
About the Project
This role supports a high-profile marketing team operating at the intersection of creator marketing, public responsibility, and ecosystem growth in Indonesia. You’ll drive creator-facing initiatives, lead responsibility programs, engage cultural moments, and work closely with policy partners to strengthen the brand’s reputation and impact locally.
You’ll oversee end-to-end campaign execution, events, experiments, and performance tracking, while partnering with cross-functional teams and external agencies. This role is all about shaping programs that matter, moving fast with clarity, and building trusted relationships with creators, regulators, and key stakeholders in-market.
About the Role
Lead the go-to-market strategy for priority products and programs.
Build and run execution plans for complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
Break down complex problems, remove roadblocks, and represent the project across business, product, and technical lenses through clear, compelling communication.
Creator Programs & Cultural Moments
Lead priority creator programs tied to responsibility (e.g., child safety, copyright, etc.).
Plan and execute creator-focused initiatives for key Indonesian cultural moments (e.g., SMB Day, National Education Day, Teachers Day).
Partner closely with creators, KOLs, and agencies to deliver highly engaging, culturally resonant campaigns.
Strategic Problem Solving
Turn local insights into big-picture strategies.
Proactively spot opportunities to strengthen YouTube’s ecosystem — even outside your immediate scope.
Develop recommendations that support both creator growth and responsibility objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (Policy & Responsibility)
Work closely with Government Affairs & Public Policy (GAPP) and other cross-functional teams to design programs that align with national narratives (Creative Economy, Digital Responsibility, etc.).
Support reputation-building initiatives through strong alignment between marketing, policy, and external stakeholders.
About You
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years’ experience in marketing across product marketing, events, policy-related marketing, or social brand marketing.
Proven experience managing end-to-end programs and events: timeline management, go-to-market planning, narrative development, creative briefing, social amplification, and on-ground logistics.
Direct experience working with creators and KOLs.
Experience running events that involve high-profile individuals — from KOFs to top-tier creators.
Solid understanding of Indonesia’s political and regulatory landscape, and how it intersects with brand reputation.
Strong analytical skills: metrics, measurement, insights, and performance tracking.
Passion for and experience working on public policy/responsibility topics, especially with government or policy-driven partners.
Strong track record of managing cross-team, cross-functional projects.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
