Assistant Designer

Job Description Assistant Designer supports the Creative Director in translating creative vision into innovative, production-ready collections. This role integrates trend research, technical design development, material sourcing, and production coordination to ensure each collection meets the brand’s standards and market relevance. The role requires the ability to independently translate design direction into fully developed concepts.

Responsibilities Conduct trend research and consumer analysis; develop mood boards and color palettes to support collection development. Develop and execute capsule collections, from initial concept to production-ready designs. Translate creative direction into complete design concepts independently. Create detailed design sketches (manual & digital) and prepare comprehensive Technical Packs (Tech Packs). Source fabrics, materials, and accessories aligned with design direction and premium quality standards. Evaluate fabric properties to ensure suitability with intended silhouettes and garment construction. Oversee sample development from initial pattern stage to finished garment. Collaborate closely with tailoring, embroidery, and embellishment teams to ensure precise execution of design details. Perform quality control on samples and final outputs to ensure alignment with original design standards. Identify production challenges and provide effective technical solutions to maintain timelines. Review and approve final samples prior to production run.

Qualifications Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Fashion Design. Proven ability to develop capsule collections is highly preferred. Proficient in manual and digital sketching & illustration. Strong understanding of premium fabric properties and garment construction. Knowledge of pattern making and apparel production processes. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills. Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced luxury environment.
