Senior Process Engineer - Biotechnology (Food Production)

Senior Process Engineer - Biotechnology (Food Production) Willing to travel to project sites and overseas engineering offices when required.

Key Responsibilities Lead process engineering for a

greenfield manufacturing project

(design, construction, commissioning).

Develop and review

PFDs, P&IDs, process descriptions, equipment datasheets, and technical documentation .

Perform process calculations including

equipment sizing, hydraulic calculations, safety valve sizing , and utility requirements.

Define

pipeline sizes, piping design conditions, and routing .

Coordinate with

mechanical, electrical, automation, and civil teams .

Work closely with vendors, EPC contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Support

installation, commissioning, start-up, and acceptance testing

of production lines.

Act as a technical reference for production and engineering teams.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in

Chemical Engineering / Process Engineering

or equivalent.

Minimum 10 years

of experience in process engineering for manufacturing projects.

Strong greenfield project experience

(design to commissioning) is mandatory.

Experience handling

CAPEX projects valued at USD 10 million+ .

Strong expertise in

thermodynamics, drying processes, utilities, and HVAC systems .

Proficient in

AutoCAD

and familiar with international engineering standards.

Fluent in

English

(written and spoken); Bahasa Indonesia required.

Experience working with EPCs and equipment vendors is highly preferred.
