Head of Operation

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head of Operations to join our team at PT Gapura Mas Logistics in North Jakarta, Jakarta.

This full-time leadership role requires strong expertise in export and import clearance processes, deep knowledge of customs regulations, and the ability to oversee and optimize logistics operations. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferable. Minimum 4–6 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in freight forwarding or shipping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong understanding of export and import clearance processes, documentation, and customs procedures. Up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and compliance. Possession of a PPJK (Pengurus Jasa Kepabeanan) certificate is highly preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferably residing in or around North Jakarta. Responsibilities

Lead and oversee export and import clearance processes to ensure full compliance with customs regulations. Review and approve shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations. Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders. Optimize operational workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time. Ensure the company stays up-to-date with regulatory changes and maintains full compliance. Troubleshoot and resolve operational bottlenecks or delays in customs clearance or logistics activities. Maintain accurate documentation and provide operational reports to senior management. Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to support seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. Provide guidance, training, and performance oversight to the operations team.
