Sous Chef Pastry
General Requirement
Minimum Diploma in culinary arts, pastry & bakery, or related field
At least 3-5 years of experience in pastry or bakery operations, preferably in luxury hotels or fine-dining environments
Proven experience supervising pastry teams or serving in a senior pastry role
Strong knowledge of classical and modern pastry techniques, including desserts, cakes, breads, and plated presentation
Ability to develop, test, and execute innovative dessert menus aligned with luxury brand standards
Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with executive chef and other kitchen sections
Capable of managing daily pastry production, scheduling, task delegation, and quality control
Strong sense of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety (HACCP knowledge preferred)
Able to work under pressure, multitask, and maintain consistency in a fast-paced 5-star environment
Positive attitude, teamwork oriented, and flexible working hours including weekends and holidays
