safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
We are currently seeking an experienced
Crewing Assistant Manager
to oversee crew management processes and support the efficient deployment of seafarers across our fleet.
Responsibilities
Oversee
recruitment, selection, and deployment of seafarers
in accordance with operational requirements
Manage
crew planning, crew changes, logistics, and documentation
to ensure smooth vessel operations
Ensure compliance with
maritime regulations, company policies, and international safety standards
Monitor
crew performance, training requirements, and certification validity
Maintain accurate
crew records, documentation, and crewing databases
Coordinate closely with
fleet operations, technical teams, and external stakeholders
regarding crew assignments and operational needs
Support continuous improvement in
crewing processes, operational efficiency, and compliance standards
Qualifications
Minimum
6 years of sea-going experience
as a Deck or Engine Officer (Chief Officer, Second Officer, or Second Engineer) and minimum
4 years of experience in crewing operations, crewing coordination, crew administration, or marine operations
within a shipping company
Familiar with
crew planning, crew change arrangements, certification monitoring, and crew documentation
Good understanding of
maritime regulations and international conventions (STCW, MLC, ISM Code, etc.)
Experience working with
crewing systems or crew management databases
is an advantage
Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills
Able to work in a
fast-paced maritime operational environment
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
