Technical Lead Key Responsibilities: Facility Oversight (“Babysitting the Build”) Maintain a continuous presence across the facility during construction and installation activities. Observe work to ensure installations are neat, aligned, secure, and properly finished. Highlight poor contractor workmanship to Technical Lead.

Immediate Rectification of Minor Issues Carry out hands-on correction of small defects before they become problems, which can include: Tightening, adjusting, aligning, or re-securing installations. Re-routing small services for neatness and accessibility. Correcting fixings, brackets, labeling, and protection. Touch-up mechanical works where contractors have left incomplete finishes.

Standards & Presentation Maintain an immaculate working environment: Ensure cleanliness of work areas. Remove temporary works, unused materials, and debris. Ensure cable runs, pipework, and installations are visually ordered and logical.

Interface with Contractors & Engineers Provide practical feedback to contractors and installation teams. Highlight issues to the Technical Lead. Assist engineers by preparing areas for installation or inspection.

Required Experience Strong hands-on mechanical or industrial background (e.g., technician, fitter, installation, plant maintenance, civil works or similar). Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of standards.

Skills & Attributes High personal standards of workmanship and cleanliness. Mechanically competent with common tools and adjustment techniques. Observant and detail-focused.

Tools & Support The role will be provided with: Standard mechanical toolset. Access to facility drawings and installation layouts. Direct support from the Test Facility Manager for escalation when required.

This role is on-site and would require relocation to the UAE.
