AI Initiatives Intern - Marketing

About The Team Join Shopee’s Marketing team as an intern to explore how AI is transforming modern marketing. In this role, you will support AI-driven initiatives by researching tools, assisting with experiments, and helping apply AI to content, creative, insights, and everyday marketing workflows, while gaining hands‑on exposure to real projects.

We are looking for a curious, driven intern with strong interest in AI, marketing, or creativity, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and experiment in a fast‑paced environment. This internship offers valuable exposure to leadership, early responsibility, and the opportunity to build practical experience at the intersection of AI and marketing.

Job Description

Experiment with GenAI and AI-powered tools to support marketing activities

Identify AI use cases for content creation, creative development, and insights

Plan and execute pilots and AI projects under the guidance of the Marketing Director and team

Document learnings, examples, and best practices from AI experiments, to share and implement across the department

Stay curious and updated on relevant AI tools and trends, advocate for AI adoption across the business

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor degree in any field

Strong interest in AI, GenAI, and digital tools

Hands‑on experience using AI tools for school, projects, internships, or personal work

Curious, proactive, and willing to learn by doing

Comfortable working with different teams and taking feedback

Good communication and presentation skills

Marketing experience is not required, but must have interest in storytelling or consumer trends
