Social Studies Teacher (Middle School teacher)

Responsibilities

Ensure students are provided with the best possible opportunities for academic growth, personal development, emotional and intellectual advancement.

Maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment conducive to the students' educational experiences.

Build and sustain open, positive relationships with parents and guardians.

Job Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Education (e.g., Education or Social Studies Subject Group is preferred).

Preferably holds an International Baccalaureate (IB) Teacher Certificate or has experience in IB / international curriculum.

At least 2 years of experience as Individual and Societies, Social Studies Subjects Teacher at Junior High School level.

High proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

Desired characteristics: Passionate about teaching and working with children, cooperative, strong communication skills, adaptable, culturally sensitive, persistent, and possessing a growth mindset.

Self-motivated, cheerful, honest, disciplined, creative, experienced in the field, and a team player.

Experience with International Curriculum is a plus.

Minimum IELTS score of 6.

Available to start in June 2026.
