About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our retail store in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring sales targets are met, maintaining inventory levels, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth store operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in retail management. The Store Supervisor will report to the Store Manager and will play a crucial role in driving the store's success.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee, guide, train, and motivate the store staff team (such as sales staff, cashiers) to work effectively and achieve sales targets
Ensure the store achieves the set sales targets, analyze sales reports, and develop strategies to increase sales
Manage and monitor stock levels, ensure the availability of goods, control inventory, and place stock orders
Ensure customer satisfaction, handle customer questions, complaints, and problems, and ensure good service standards are applied
Oversee store opening and closing procedures, maintain store cleanliness and orderliness, and ensure all activities run smoothly in accordance with company policies
Prepare daily and weekly reports on sales, stock, staff performance, and report them to the Store Manager or higher management
Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the store's appearance and attract customers
Monitor and manage store expenses within budget
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, provide updates, and address any concerns
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets
Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred
Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify trends
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of local market trends and customer preferences
