Import Supervisor

About the role As an Import Supervisor at PT Surgika Alkesindo, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's import operations. This full-time position will be based in Cempaka putih, Central Jakarta. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant importation of goods.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise the import process, including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics

Ensure compliance with all relevant import regulations and procedures

Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth import activities

Oversee the timely and accurate processing of import shipments

Identify and troubleshoot any issues or bottlenecks in the import process

Contribute to the continuous improvement of import operations and procedures

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience in an import supervisory role, preferably within Healthcare industry (Medical Devices / pharmacy)

Strong understanding of import regulations, customs clearance processes, and documentation requirements

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Proficient in using import-related software and systems

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Ability to work well in a team and lead the import team

Familiarity with Indonesian import and customs procedures is highly desirable
