Assistant Manager Billing based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:
Team organization and management :
ensure all vessels are being invoiced timely prior ETA/ETD by ensuring proper task allocation between team members.
Customer care :
ensure queries from customer are addressed properly and timely by the team.
Invoice completeness monitoring :
analyze specific GL accounts and reports to ensure no charges were missed in the invoicing process. Monitore and solve interface error between operational and accounting systems.
Invoice accuracy :
ensure timely update of special conditions files and invoicing master files. Manage system charge auto population.
Process efficiency :
formalize and improve processes linked to invoicing to ensure optimize productivity.
System enhancement :
work with the management to improve current systems (Bulk invoicing, customer care platform, etc)
Compliance :
ensure compliance of the invoices with applicable regulations (local, OFAC, internal..) and authority matrix (reversals)
Reporting :
monthly reports on special conditions
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or corporate finance.
Minimum 5 years of experience in account receivable or customer care.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated business acumen and commercial insight and ability in developing a team
Experience in SAP or other large-scale ERP is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
