The Hub Specialist will support Operations in Sorong, acting as a key operational anchor for inbound, outbound, and inventory activities within the hub.

How you create impact

Manage and execute end-to-end inbound, outbound, and inventory control for the Sorong project hub.

Oversee daily hub activities including:

Cargo receiving

Yard operations (including breakbulk cargo in the junk yard)

Documentation flow

Storage planning and handling

Ensure vendor performance meets operational and safety expectations.

Support cross-dock operations and ensure smooth cargo flow through the hub.

Monitor vessel-related activity.

Maintain real-time updates for cargo status, stock levels, and operational reports.

Verify vendor documentation, completion of checklists, and timely submission of required records.

Ensure all hub processes comply with quality standards.

Serve as a key liaison between operations, vendors, trucking partners, and internal customers.

Represent professionally onsite, maintaining strong oversight of vendor performance and behavior.

Work closely with internal teams on planning, scheduling, service expectations, and performance updates.

What we would like you to bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Marine Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.

Experience Requirements:

3–5 years of experience in:

Shorebase or hub operations

Oil & Gas warehousing

Vendor/contractor supervision

Marine logistics support

Experience handling Oil & Gas logistics is mandatory.

Technical Skills:

Hands‑on experience in warehousing or yard operations, particularly in O&G environments.

Strong command of logistics systems

Solid understanding of cargo documentation, hub processes, and material handling workflow.

Personal Attributes:

Able to maintain authority in vendor‑dominant environments

Confident, assertive, and capable of influencing multiple stakeholders.

Highly resilient, independent, and able to work under pressure in a remote environment.

Strong communication and coordination skills across vendors, internal ops, and clients.
