NPI Engineer

Responsibilities

NPI on PCBA process starting from SMT - Back End - Box Build (Solder Paste, SPI, PnP, Reflow Profile, W/S Profile, Rayreview, Conformal Coating, Box Build and packaging design)

Understand and use software to read Gerber files

Design solder paste stencil and work with jig and fixture design BOM creation & review

Target oriented to achieve KPI goals based on timeline given

Design process steps from scratch till packaging

Work on RFQ

Execute documentation work and reporting such as Control Plan, PFMEA, 5 Why, 8D, GR & R, Cpk, Validation report, DFM, DFT, First Article Report

Report quality problems or defects to manager or senior management for corrective action and recurrence avoidance

Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications

Diploma / Bachelor Degree graduates in Engineering

Experience in same position min. 4 years

Proven work experience in process engineering

Excellent technical skills

Knowledge of process related standards

Experience in process simulations

Working knowledge of process engineering software packages CAD or AutoCAD skills

Familiarity with health and safety regulations

Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills

Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Team player

Good time-management skills

Great interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to establish process flow, equipment and method

Ability to provide process documentation and operating instructions
