Overview A leading oil and gas organisation in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Expeditor to support procurement, material tracking, and delivery coordination. This role ensures timely procurement and inspection of equipment, materials, and services in line with project and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Procurement Officer with procurement and expediting activities

Support source inspections of procured equipment, materials, and services

Track procurement progress and provide delivery and inspection reports, including certificates and test documentation

Issue expediting reports and manufacturing status updates for equipment

Maintain and update procurement tracking systems to ensure post-purchase order activities are on schedule

Prepare and maintain Liquidated Damages (LD) logs

Maintain vendor data retention logs

Support compliance with procurement standards and project-specific requirements

Requirements

Diploma in Engineering or a related field

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in contracting, procurement, and expediting, preferably within the oil and gas sector

At least 3 years in a similar expediting role

Familiarity with procurement management tools (e.g., PTS, POTS)

Knowledge of oil and gas project equipment, services, shipping, customs approvals, and importation procedures

Understanding of basic procurement and supply chain management principles

Familiarity with industry procurement standards, including Petronas Procurement Standard (PPS)

Strong organisational and reporting skills
