Global Business Consultant – Process Optimization & Automation Strategy

On behalf of a global client, RED is looking for a Global Business Consultant – Process Optimisation & Automation Strategy for defining, optimizing, and transforming end-to-end business processes across Science and Consumer Experience and Analytics. Acting as a trusted advisor, this position translates business needs into clear process models, automation roadmaps, and structured prioritization strategies aligned with digital and compliance requirements.

This is a 100% remote role.

Role Details: Start - March Location - Remote Languages - English (Spanish – Bonus) Duration - 12 Months + Extension Capacity - 5 days/week, 8 Hours a day (CET Timezone)

Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end business process assessment and documentation across content, quality, and compliance Design optimized future-state processes aligned with business objectives, regulatory standards, and digital strategy. Identify and evaluate automation opportunities based on value, feasibility, and compliance considerations. Develop and maintain a structured automation roadmap, including sequencing, effort estimates, and expected benefits. Define market entry and rollout strategies with clear prioritization criteria. Facilitate workshops and drive alignment across global and local stakeholders. Provide fact-based recommendations, trade-off analyses, and structured decision support. Define KPIs and governance mechanisms to measure process performance and automation impact. Drive continuous improvement through data, feedback, and evolving business needs.

Key Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Aprimo/Veeva experience would be a bonus. Minimum 7 years of experience in business consulting, process optimization, or transformation roles, preferably in healthcare, pharma, or regulated industries. Proven experience in business process modelling, automation opportunity assessment, and roadmap definition. Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements impacting digital and content processes. Experience working across complex global and local stakeholder environments. Excellent facilitation, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA or Confluence is a plus. Lean, Six Sigma, consulting, or transformation certifications are advantageous.
