Assistant Engineering Manager

Role Description

Ensure all

mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems

operate safely and efficiently

Plan, supervise, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs

Monitor equipment performance, identify issues, and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime

Supervise and coordinate the engineering team, including task allocation and performance monitoring

Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and internal SOPs

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, technical reports, and documentation

Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs, servicing, and projects

Support emergency response and troubleshooting during operational hours, including nights and weekends

Collaborate closely with Operations and Management to support seamless guest experiences

Qualifications

Proven experience in an

assistant managerial engineering role , preferably in hospitality

Strong technical expertise in mechanical systems (including genset), electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems

Solid understanding of preventive maintenance planning and asset management

Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise engineering teams

Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Good communication and coordination skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Willing to work

flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Experience in

beach club

will be a strong advantage
