General Description
The Finance & Accounting (Manager) is responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting operations for newly subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations. This role plays a critical part in setting up and managing robust financial systems and processes to support the growth and scalability of each business entity. The manager will act as a strategic partner to business and operations teams, ensuring financial integrity and alignment across various subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end finance and accounting operations for newly subsidiaries, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and tax compliance.
Develop and implement standardized accounting policies and procedures tailored to each subsidiary, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate standards.
Strengthen finance operation systems (e.g., ERP) and ensure integration and scalability across multiple entities.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for each subsidiary, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of consolidated reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, legal, tax, and internal audit) to support business initiatives and ensure financial alignment.
Provide timely and insightful financial reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making at the group and subsidiary levels.
Support the setup and financial due diligence of new subsidiaries including risk assessments and operational readiness.
Identify and resolve financial and operational issues, ensuring strong internal controls and continuous process improvement.
Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities for new subsidiaries.
Perform other duties as required to support the finance team and evolving business needs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelorโs / Masterโs Degree in Accounting or Finance from reputable university
>>5 years of working experience in finance operations (either accounts payable or accounts receivable functions), risk control or Finance functions with some experience at management level and high-growth organization or a start-up company
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
Excellent computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel and GSheets
Proficiency in accounting software/ERP (preferably Oracle NetSuite)
In-depth knowledge of accounting and taxation compliance
Dynamic and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with growth mindset
Have a multi-tasking ability and can work independent as well as in a team
Skilled in presentation composition, communications technology including PowerPoint, and engaging, articulate audience presentations.
Good command of both spoken and written English
Willing to be fully based in Bandung
