Job Description
The Chief Agency Officer will lead the company's primary distribution engine by setting the overall agency growth strategy and elevating performance across all regions. This includes strengthening recruitment efforts, particularly in emerging markets with strong productive‑age demographics, and enhancing agent productivity through improved training, coaching, and performance management frameworks. The CAO will drive sales excellence by improving acquisition quality, persistency, and compliance, while collaborating cross‑functionally to ensure strong channel support. The role also leads the modernization of distribution through digital tools and analytics, ensuring the agency network remains competitive and future‑ready. Additionally, the CAO will navigate the organization's evolving landscape following a regulator‑supervised portfolio consolidation that has streamlined operations and sharpened strategic focus.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (Business, Management, Finance, or related fields).
Proven track record in managing a large team across multiple regions in Indonesia from diverse background.
Extensive distribution leadership experience, with 15-20+ years in life insurance and at least 7 years leading large agency organisations.
Strong commercial and strategic capability
Demonstrated success in agency transformation
Excellent leadership and people‑management skills
Excellent communication in both Bahasa and English.
Strong track record in sales, with analytical skills and data‑driven.
