To strengthen our Reliability & Maintenance capability, we are seeking a skilled Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) Technician who will play a critical role in enhancing equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance strategies, and ensuring long-term asset performance.
This position is ideal for analytical and hands-on professionals who are passionate about condition monitoring, root cause analysis, and predictive maintenance in a dynamic power plant environment.
As an RCM Technician, you will support plant reliability initiatives through condition-based monitoring, failure analysis, and maintenance optimization activities to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Performing condition-based monitoring (CBM) and reliability maintenance activities on rotating equipment
Inspecting, analyzing, and diagnosing abnormal equipment conditions and failures
Supporting preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance activities
Assisting in failure investigations, FMEA/RCFA activities, and providing improvement recommendations
Collecting, analyzing, and reporting condition monitoring data and maintenance history
Supporting outage planning, inspections, and major overhauls
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and equipment history in the CMMS system
Ensuring full compliance with HSEQ standards
Supporting commissioning activities when required
Coordinating with Mechanical, Electrical, and I&C teams to enhance overall plant reliability
Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of work areas
What You’ll Bring
Degree or Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 4 years of experience in power plant O&M, RCM, or CBM — preferably in a Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCP)
Strong understanding of reliability concepts including RCM, FMEA, RCFA, PM/PdM, and condition-based maintenance
Experience in monitoring rotating equipment such as turbines, pumps, compressors, and fans
Hands-on experience with vibration analysis, thermal imaging, NDT, and other monitoring techniques
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and P&ID
Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance documentation practices
Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and data analysis
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, team player
Willing to work outside normal working hours when required
Willing to be based in Cilamaya, Karawang
