Senior Accountant

About the role We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join the team at PT COLORADO OUTDOOR GEAR INDONESIA in Kabupaten Semarang, Jawa Tengah. As a full-time Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with industry standards.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations

Generating financial statements, reports, and analyses to support informed decision-making

Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Providing support to the finance team and collaborating with other departments as needed

Continuously identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls

Prepare Monthly & Annual Tax Return ( WHT Art 21/26, 23 , 4 (2) ) and other statutory reporting

What we're looking for

Degree in Accounting or a related field

At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the Accounting & Financial Reporting industry

Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations

Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Have Brevet A and B certificate Active English

Well in reading, writing, speaking Mandarin (preferred)

Have worked in a garment or bag factory Have handled tax audits, customs and excise audits

Understand the customs and excise Inventory System
