Job Description
BRANCH MANAGER & CS EXPORT IMPORT (SEMARANG)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding industry, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership or managerial role.
Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Export/Import procedures, Incoterms, and Indonesian Customs regulations (PPJK knowledge is a plus).
Local Network: Proven networking capabilities and a strong client database in Semarang and the surrounding Central Java industrial zones.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is mandatory for coordinating with international networks.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, exceptional negotiation skills, and a result-oriented mindset with the ability to work under high pressure.
Job Descriptions
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement local business strategies to achieve branch KPIs, revenue targets, and market share expansion.
Operational Oversight: Manage and optimize end-to-end logistics operations, including Sea & Air Freight, Customs Clearance, and Inland Trucking.
P&L Management: Full accountability for the branch’s Profit and Loss, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Business Development: Proactively identify new business opportunities and maintain high-level relationships with key corporate accounts.
Team Empowerment: Lead, mentor, and supervise cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, and Finance) to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Vendor & Agency Management: Negotiate and maintain strong partnerships with shipping lines, airlines, warehouse providers, and overseas agents.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all branch activities strictly adhere to local customs regulations and international shipping standards.
EXPORT/IMPORT CUSTOMER SERVICE
Requirements
Passionate mind, high level of commitment and dedication.
Having good communication skills. Must be good at English writing and speaking.
Good Computer skills. If ever used logistic software such as G‑Soft would be preferable.
Fully understanding logistic work process. Customs, PEB/PIB and other related to export/import activities.
Good teamwork.
Job Descriptions
Input Data on System and Checking Documents Validation.
Ensures that all documentation is up to date and recorded in tracking systems.
Resolves issues and expedites solutions with clients, customs officials, and overseas agents.
Monitoring of the shipments to ensure the compliance of regulations.
Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of imports and exports activities.
Create Daily report and Reporting to Forwarding manager.
Location: Must be willing to be based in Semarang.
