About the Role As a Business Development Manager (Construction Services), you will be responsible for driving sales and developing commercial strategies to expand Rukita’s construction project portfolio. You will drive the growth of Rukita’s construction and renovation portfolio (Design & Build Project) by identifying new project opportunities, securing clients, building strong relationships, and managing the full business development cycle from lead generation to signing. The ideal candidate combines a strong commercial mindset with a solid understanding of construction and design processes to translate client needs into successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop and implement sales strategies for construction services in line with company targets.

Build, manage and secure a strong project pipeline for new construction & renovations projects from property owners, investors, developers, and B2B partners.

Conduct prospecting, pitching, and project negotiations.

Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure proposals are competitive and feasible.

Maintain strategic relationships with key clients, vendors, and business partners.

Work closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are accurately translated into project scopes and deliverables.

Prepare sales forecasts, team performance reports, and business development recommendations.

Identify potential areas for business expansion, including new service offerings, markets, or customer segments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Management, or a related field.

6+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client management in the Construction, Interior/Property fit‑out project, Property Development, or Design & Build industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.

Strong professional network within the property, hospitality, coliving and mid‑scale construction industries ecosystem.

Proven track record in securing projects valued between IDR 500 million to 10 billion.

Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Strong understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of construction projects.
