Network Security Engineer Jakarta Pusat, Indonesia Job Description Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers on network security solutions Provide technical expertise on firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, WAF, and network security architecture Support customers during deployment, configuration, tuning, and optimization of network security systems Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network and security incidents Conduct security health checks, configuration reviews, and best practice assessments Work closely with SOC, NOC, Engineering, and Presales teams to resolve customer issues Translate customer requirements into secure network design and recommendations Assist in incident response and post-incident analysis when required Prepare and deliver technical documentation, reports, and recommendations Manage technical escalations to vendors and principals Stay up to date with network security threats, technologies, and best practices

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 3+ years of hands-on experience in Network Security or Security Engineering Strong knowledge of: Firewall platforms (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, or equivalent) VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) IDS/IPS, WAF, Network Segmentation Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, VLAN, DNS, WAN Proven experience in troubleshooting network and security issues Experience handling customer-facing technical roles is a plus Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers Strong documentation and reporting skills Certifications are a plus: CCNA / CCNP Fortinet NSE / Palo Alto PCNSE CompTIA Security+ Able to manage multiple customer environments and priorities
