As the
Key Account Manager (Tobacco) , you will drive business growth by building strong partnerships with key customers in the Tobacco segment. You will lead all Givaudan activities for designated accounts, leveraging your sales expertise and strategic insight to deliver sustainable results and position Givaudan as the preferred partner in the market. You will report to the Sales Lead and will be based in Jakarta or Surabaya.
Responsibilities
Drive Givaudan's business growth with designated accounts by managing both top and bottom lines
Lead all Givaudan activities and initiatives for assigned accounts
Manage and collaborate effectively with distributors to deliver business objectives
Build and sustain strong relationships with key customer decision-makers, positioning Givaudan as the preferred partner
Develop, communicate, and implement strategic account development plans, sales forecasts, and budgets with clear KPIs
Manage the project pipeline (quality and quantity of briefs) and leverage digital tools to achieve growth targets
Protect and grow base business in key markets and with strategic customers
Negotiate pricing agreements within guidelines, and manage credit, pricing, rebates, and related commercial terms
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
More than 5 years of work experience in B2B sales environment, preferably within a flavour house managing tobacco-related business
Proven ability to apply strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills to develop Account Development Plans (ADPs)
Strong understanding of customer strategies, initiatives, priorities, and launch processes, with the ability to position Givaudan's offerings effectively
In-depth knowledge of customers, competitors, and market dynamics within tobacco industry
Solid understanding of profitability goals and financial performance management for key accounts
Ability to execute all account management steps within the digital brief handling process and manage project scale-ups effectively
Demonstrated capability to identify and pursue new business opportunities by addressing unmet customer needs
Strong interpersonal skills to build and sustain relationships with key customer decision-makers
Able to travel to Jakarta/Surabaya based on business needs
