Key Responsibilities Adhere to processes and transactions in compliance with Risk and Financial Control policies. Deliver Accounting Operations’ transactions, accurately processed within the timescales set by operating level agreements. This involves processing transaction corrections, call out process exceptions and provide answers to transaction queries in a timely manner. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for intercompany and Fixed Asset GL within the timescales set by the period end checklist. Review and clear down Accounting Operations’ process control accounts in a timely manner. Support internal audit queries and requests for information. Provide technical support to Finance and business stakeholders via standard analyses and investigations. Actively engage with Finance change projects (including user-acceptance test scripting). Regularly review Accounting Operations’ processes for process continuous improvement opportunities. Actively engage with small-scale process change projects. Ensure that any standard operating procedures and process maps utilized to carry out Accounting Operations’ processes are accurate and up to date. Ensure that transactions, reconciliations and any supporting documentation are filed and can be recovered in accordance with Financial Control policy. Enhance Finance skills via an agreed and documented development plan.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Auditor roles. Preferably within a shared services environment. Strong understanding of fixed asset & intercompany. Familiarity with RTR processes and financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. High level of accuracy and detail-oriented with strong analytical in processing transactions and preparing reconciliations. Proactive, communicative, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders. Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and in teams. Experience in supporting audit queries and requests for information. Commitment to enhancing finance and accounting skills through continuous learning and development.
