Corporate Sustainability Analyst

Bestari Sustainability is a private advisory and implementation partner initiated by WRI Indonesia focused on addressing global challenges to achieve a sustainable future for people and the planet. The company specializes in sustainability, climate, and circular economy solutions, enabling clients to adopt science-backed strategies for impactful change.

Role Description Corporate Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for preparing high-quality deliverables for Bestari’s clients, particularly in climate strategy, ESG reporting, and corporate sustainability transformation. The role primarily focuses on climate and decarbonization initiatives—including GHG accounting, science-based target setting, and net zero strategy—while also integrating broader environmental themes such as circular economy, waste management, water stewardship, and nature-positive approaches.

Strong analytical and research capabilities are essential, as the role requires translating complex sustainability challenges into actionable corporate strategies aligned with international frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, SBTi, TNFD, AWS, SBTN, and evolving climate and nature regulations.

Qualifications

Legally able to work in Indonesia;

Preferably based in Jabodetabek, hybrid applicants are welcome;

Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, civil engineering, chemical engineering, or other relevant majors;

Minimum 2-year experience in sustainability issues and framework (e.g., sustainability projects, sustainability disclosure, corporate strategies, GHG accounting, etc.);

Experience with GIS tools or spatial analysis is an advantage;

Well-organized and detail-oriented personality with great time management skill to work on multiple projects;

Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English;

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment, both independently and as part of a global team;

Adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and able to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high quality work products.
