Responsible for ensuring the security and protection of the PT ANIP PBPH area through routine patrol activities, the formation and mentoring of community-based patrol teams, as well as the prevention and early response to forest fires, especially during the dry season.

Area Security and Forest Patrols
Plan and implement routine and thematic patrols (illegal logging, encroachment, poaching, forest fires) throughout PT ANIP's work area.
Develop patrol routes based on risk and vulnerability hotspots.
Record and report patrol results periodically.
Document findings of violations and potential threats to the area.
Community-Based Patrols
Form, develop, and assist patrol teams with village communities surrounding the PBPH area.
Facilitate basic training in forest patrols, occupational safety, and an introduction to forestry regulations for the community.
Establish communication and coordination with community leaders, village officials, and traditional institutions.
Encourage active community participation in sustainably protecting the area.
Forest Fire Prevention and Control
Develop and implement a forest fire prevention plan, especially during the dry season.
Conduct intensive patrols and monitor fire-prone areas.
Conduct fire prevention outreach to the surrounding community.
Support the preparedness of fire control facilities and infrastructure (equipment, water access, evacuation routes).
Involved in the early response to forest fire incidents.
Coordination and Compliance Enforcement
Coordinate with relevant agencies (FMU, Forest Police, MPA, BPHL) in security efforts and incident management.
Support the implementation of PBPH regulations and forestry laws and regulations in the field.
Oversee the implementation of precautionary and safety principles in forest security activities.
Monitoring, Data, and Reporting
Manage data on patrols, fire incidents, and other security incidents.
Prepare monthly and incident reports to superiors.
Support audit and reporting requirements for sustainability standards (PHPL, FSC, VCS-CCB, etc. where relevant).
Job Requirements
Minimum high school/D3/S1 degree, preferably in Forestry, Environment, or a related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in forest security, patrolling, or forest fire control.
Experience working in large-scale forest areas is a plus.
Understanding of illegal logging, encroachment, poaching, and forest fires.
Able to work in the field in challenging conditions.
Good communication skills and social skills with the community.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Strong commitment to forest protection and occupational safety.
Experience in fostering MPA (Fire Awareness Communities) or community-based patrols.
Certified in forest fire or search and rescue (SAR) training.
Experience using GPS, maps, or patrol monitoring applications.
Understanding of area security SOPs and PHPL/FSC standards.
Willling to be placed at PT Aceh Nusa Indra Puri (ANIP) - Aceh Besar.
