Senior Project Manager (Hydropower)

Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is partnering with a hydropower consulting firm headquartered in Austria to recruit a Project Manager. This role will oversee end-to-end hydropower plant projects, coordinating both local teams in Indonesia and international stakeholders. The position is based in Greater Jakarta and focuses primarily on managing hydropower projects.

Responsibilities

Lead project planning, coordination, and execution across all phases.

Manage client and stakeholder communication to ensure alignment.

Oversee engineering teams to deliver quality and compliant solutions.

Support permitting, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.

Monitor budgets, schedules, and risks; drive cost and efficiency improvements.

Supervise construction progress and site activities.

Deliver regular reports and updates to stakeholders.

Promote sustainability and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or related; PMP preferred.

8+ years' experience managing energy/infrastructure projects, ideally hydropower.

Strong understanding of hydropower systems and regulations.

Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera).

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Fluent in English; local language is a plus.

Willingness to travel to site locations.
