Procurement & Sourcing (Construction)

We are looking for a Procurement & Sourcing Lead in Construction— not an admin buyer, not a paperwork role.

This position owns supplier strategy, negotiation, and cost control across construction, operations, and equipment procurement. Your job is simple to define and hard to execute: get the best suppliers, at the best price, with clean terms — every time.

If you rely on “trusted vendors” without benchmarking, this role is not for you.

What You Will Own Must Speak Fluent English and Bahasa. Location: Full time I Bali.

Source, vet, and benchmark suppliers across materials, equipment, and services

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and penalties

Build and maintain a vetted supplier list (price-tested, performance-tested)

Compare quotes aggressively and flag inflated pricing immediately

Reduce cost leakage, duplication, and supplier dependency

Ensure procurement decisions are documented, auditable, and clean

Coordinate closely with construction, operations, and finance teams

Step in early when supply risks, delays, or pricing anomalies appear

This is a decision-making role, not a forwarding role.

You are not approving vague invoices or verbal agreements

You are not operating without benchmarks

Required Experience

5+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain (construction or operations preferred)

Proven experience negotiating supplier pricing and terms

Strong understanding of local market pricing (Indonesia/Bali a plus)

Comfortable pushing back on suppliers — firmly and professionally

Able to spot inconsistencies between BOQs, quotes, and actual usage

High integrity — zero tolerance for kickbacks, commissions, or side deals

Strong documentation and reporting discipline

If you cannot clearly explain how you saved money in previous roles, this is not a fit.
