Job Description

The Finance & Accounting will be responsible for supporting daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, assisting in monthly closing activities, and providing accurate financial information for decision‑making. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Job Description 1. Accounting & Reporting

Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and account reconciliations.

Support monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closing processes to ensure timely reporting.

Assist in preparing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with general GAAP and company policies.

Ensure all transactions are properly recorded, classified, and approved.

Support external and internal audit processes, providing required documentation and explanations.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

Process vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and payments in line with company policies.

Review and monitor AR aging and follow up on outstanding receivables.

Manage intercompany billings and reconciliations.

3. Tax & Compliance

Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly and annual tax returns (VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax).

Ensure compliance with local tax laws and accounting regulations.

Support liaison with external tax advisors and auditors.

4. Budgeting & Analysis

Assist in preparing cash forecasts and variance financial analysis reports.

Help identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

5. Systems & Process

Maintain accuracy of financial data in ERP system (Odoo).

Support automation or process enhancement initiatives within the finance function.

Ensure proper documentation and internal controls are maintained.

Requirements Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.

Experience in a multinational company is preferred.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).

Experience using ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or similar) is preferred.

Basic understanding of taxation and statutory compliance.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Ability to work independently and as a team.

Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality.

Jakarta or Semarang, Indonesia .
