We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join CloudMile’s Indonesia team. Based in Indonesia, this role will report directly to the Country Director and play a key role in supporting CloudMile’s business growth.
The role emphasises close collaboration with the CloudMile sales department, technical support teams, and external vendors to drive business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure successful delivery of solutions.
The primary \"job desk\" is to act as the bridge between a company’s complex cloud technology and a client’s tangible business outcomes. You are responsible for
growth —specifically finding new revenue streams, identifying untapped market segments, and forming high-value partnerships (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Alicloud, etc).
【Key Responsibilities】
Market Exploration : Researching industry trends and identifying potential sectors that would benefit from cloud migration or modernization (e.g., Fintech, Healthcare, or Retail).
Strategic Partnerships:
Identifying and recruiting channel partners, system integrators (SIs), and independent software vendors (ISVs) to co-sell your cloud solutions.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Proactively reaching out to C-level executives (CTOs, CIOs) to discuss digital transformation and cloud ROI.
Solution Pitching : Collaborating with Solution Architects to create and deliver technical presentations that solve specific business pain points.
Pipeline Management:
Managing the full sales cycle in a CRM (like Salesforce), from initial qualification to contract negotiation and closing.
Market Intelligence:
Providing feedback to the product team on what features customers are asking for and what competitors are offering.
【Required Skills and Experience】
- 5+ years in business development or sales, specifically within the IT/SaaS/Cloud sector
- Strong understanding of Sales Process and Deal Cycles
- Familiarity with Indonesia market
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets or \"cloud consumption\" quotas.
- Has experience in tender process
- Cloud Fluency: A working understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models, as well as awareness of security postures and cloud pricing models.
- Strategic Negotiation: Ability to manage complex, long-term contract negotiations with multiple stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking: Using data to identify market gaps and project future revenue growth.
- Communication: High-level presentation skills; the ability to explain \"latency\" or \"serverless architecture\" in terms of \"cost savings\" and \"business agility.\"
- Demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams (sales, technical, vendor partnerships).
【Preferred Qualifications】
- Cloud Certifications (Google Cloud, AWS, Ali)
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or Information Technology
- Experience engaging customers in regulated industries.
- Ability to support GTM execution and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Bilingualism: In many global regions, fluency in English plus a local language is essential for managing regional accounts and Mandarin will be advantageous
