Senior Legal Officer

About the role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Officer to join our dynamic team at PT Indonesia Defence Services. In this full‑time role based in Central Jakarta, Jakarta, you will play a crucial part in providing strategic, high‑quality, and cost‑effective legal services to support our growing organisation in the corporate and commercial law sector.

What you’ll be doing

Hold minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) in Law

Has experience in Legal for 3–7 years from various Industry

Has certifications in Advocate will be an advantages

Communicative in English both orally and written

Able to drafting and/or reviewing agreement

Able to Conducting legal research and due diligence to ensure minimum legal risk.

Able to ensure the succession of new and extension permits submission for the Company and its affiliates

What we’re looking for

3+ years of post-qualification experience in a large commercial law firm or the in‑house legal team of a substantial organisation

Experience handling overseas vendors, including reviewing cross‑border contracts and ensuring compliance with international commercial terms

Extensive expertise across a wide range of commercial legal practice areas, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, health services regulation, privacy law, and intellectual property

Proven ability to provide pragmatic, high‑quality, and commercially focused legal services to both operational staff and senior stakeholders

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work autonomously, as well as the capacity to supervise and coach junior legal counsel
