Category & Space Development Manager

Responsibilities Develop and maintain planograms and visual merchandising guidelines for all product categories and store formats.

Conduct shopper flow analysis and store layout optimization studies to improve customer experience and product visibility.

Collaborate with the GM Retail Operations & Development on new store design and format development.

Utilize customer data and market research to understand shopper behavior and translate insights into actionable space development strategies.

Develop standards for product grouping, adjacencies, and promotional display areas.

Create training materials and tools for store teams on effective visual merchandising and space management.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Architecture, Interior Design, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven experience (5+ years) in Space Planning, Visual Merchandising, or Retail Design, with a strong analytical component.

Proficiency in space planning software (e.g., JDA, AutoCAD) and strong data analysis skills.

Excellent creative and technical communication skills.
