Responsibilities
Oversee and direct all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Develop and implement creative, high-quality menu items that showcase your culinary expertise and align with the restaurant's brand and vision.
Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation across all dishes.
Manage and train a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Collaborate with the management team to control food and labor costs, optimise operations, and drive revenue growth.
Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary role.
Proven track record of successfully managing a busy kitchen operation and leading a team of chefs.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu development, and cost control strategies.
Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Passion for creating innovative, visually appealing dishes that delight customers.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Formal culinary training or a degree in Culinary Arts, or equivalent experience.
